Caste Certificate And Non-Creamy Layer Certificate Validity Extended In Gujarat
Important decision of Chief Minister Shri Vijaybhai Rupani for millions of youth, students, children and parents of the state.
In the interest of millions of youth, students, children and parents of the state, the Prime Minister Shri Vijaybhai Rupani has taken an important decision to extend the period of caste certification for SEBC-OBC classes by one year.
The examples of such youths whose certificates expire on 31st March-20 will now be valid till 31st March-20. Income Certificate issued by the State Government whose term expires on 31-7-2020 has also been extended for one year i.e. till 31-8-201. Non-Crimilier Certificate for OBC is valid for 4 years. Therefore, the Chief Minister has also decided that the time limit for such non-criminal certificates which expires on 31-7-2020 will be automatically extended till 31-8-201, i.e. for one year. For this extension he will not need to go to Mamlatdar's office or any competent authority or apply online.
After the lockdown, now that the new academic year has started, millions of such youths do not have to go to the Mamlatdar's office or government office to get non-criminal certificate certificates and one more year after March 31, 2018 Staying valid will be a great relief.

The caste certificate issued to the youth of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes in the State remains valid for life. Certificates obtained from such competent authority will also be valid for such SC, ST caste certificate holders.
