Today, Finance Minister Sitharaman has presented the Budget 2020 in which he made a special announcement for the farmers. The government has come up with 16 formulas of zero budget farming to double farmers' income by 2022. For this, Kusum Yojana, Kisan Rail, and flight will be prepared to provide insurance service to the Annadar.Announcement of Solar Plant to 20 Million Farmers

The finance minister has focused on villages and farmers to support this dwindling economy as the country's economy is currently in sluggish health. The agriculture ministry has allocated Rs 75,000 crore for the Kisan honor fund in the 2019-20 budget while only Rs 60,000 crore has been allocated to the agriculture ministry this year.
What is a 16-point plan?
1. Water supply will be made available in 100 districts of the country
2. Pumps used in agriculture under Prime Minister Kusum scheme will be connected to solar pumps.
3.15 lakh farmers' grid pumps will also be connected to Solar Energy
4. Natural fertilizer consumption will be encouraged to increase the fertility of the soil
5.Warehouse and cold storage will be acquired and renewed by NABARD.
6. Women farmers will be encouraged in seed related schemes
7. Air-conditioned Kisan Rail Coach to be launched soon for perishable goods
8. Under the Krishi Udan Yojana, new markets will be created internationally and nationally.
9. One export center will be set up per district for export of horticultural produce
10. Kisan Credit Card Scheme will be promoted in the year 2021
11. New areas will be developed for the availability of fish
12. The assistance provided to the players will be increased under the Dayal Scheme
13. Beekeeping Centers will be encouraged.
14. Under MNREGA milk feed will be attached to cattle.
15. Fishing will be promoted by the Blue Economy
16. Warehouse and cold storage will be created with PPP model
